What Is UREC
UREC is a recreational esports league designed to provide flexible, structured competition for students enrolled in any college or university in the United States or Canada.
Students can mix-and-match their dream team for just $10 per person per season, no same school affiliation required.

Format

AutoMatcher Check-In
UREC's AutoMatcher is a unique ranked-based matchmaking format where enrolled teams check-in for the round before it starts, confirming their attendance. Once the round begins, teams will only get matched up with other teams that have checked-in.

No Penalties & Forfeits
Teams that do not check in will face no active penalty. Instead, they will not be added to the queue, reducing forfeit rates significantly and protecting the experiences of the attending teams.

Late Registration
Thanks to this format, we can exclusively offer late registration during the competition for UREC participants. The sooner you register, the more matches you can compete in, and you won’t miss out on a full season if you’re a week late to the party.
