Hawai'i Esports Invitational presented by Zippy's
PlayVS and Zippy’s are bringing the Hawaiʻi Esports Invitational back to Oʻahu in February 2027, building on the record-setting success of the 2026 event. The three-day experience will bring together collegiate and scholastic esports competition, community service rooted in mālama ʻāina, and industry and career-focused programming. Headlined by PlayVS College League invitational tournaments in Rocket League and Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate, HEI 2027 will also create opportunities for Hawaiʻi middle and high school students to compete and connect with the broader esports community.
Tournament Info
The event will take place on Oʻahu in February 2027.
The featured HEI 2027 competition will be the PlayVS College League invitational tournaments in Rocket League and Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate, composed of six schools competing in the PCL Fall season. The field will include the four highest-performing schools from the Premier League, based on final placements across both game titles, along with two wild card invitees.
